The Famous Florida marks were contested in 2006 by Citrus World, Inc.(opposition proceeding No.:91169206)but the proceeding was dropped and we were granted the marks.
The book mark alone was valued at $500,000 in 1999 and is worth much more with the products added, especially the fruit juice category.The owner,Joyce LaFray, sold Seaside Publishing to the University of Florida Press in 2013 w/o the trademark and also wishes to retire from the key lime business.
